A brief visit to Hanoi

Our final(ish) stop in Vietnam is Hanoi, where we had a brief explore of the city (again I have been here before), before our next big adventure begins.

After checking into the hotel, I immediately dashed to the train street. This is a street lined with cafes where there is a train track running down the middle. We sat at a cafe and waited for the next train to pass. While waiting, we tried the Hanoi delicacy of egg coffee, which Dylan enjoyed, and so did I. 

We then took a quick tour of the cathedral and the lake, crossing the red bridge to a temple.

Our brief stopover in Hanoi was over, as we prepared to take on the 4 day Ha Giang Loop tomorrow.
