The Last Leg

We’re currently in London for two days, getting ready to go on Dylan’s second stag do tomorrow. This marks the start of the final three weeks of our adventure, before we call it a day on 6th March.

It’s a big change being back in the UK, the weather being the main thing. Going from 35 degree heat to the grey, wet and cold isn’t exactly thrilling.

I did get back into British culture pretty quickly though, with a trip to Greggs and Wetherspoons.

Tomorrow at 3am we to head to London Gatwick, for a two night stag do in Budapest, Hungary. I suspect with very little sightseeing.

On Sunday, we take the train to Bratislava, Slovakia, for another two nights.

Next Tuesday, we head again on the train to Krakow, Poland, for three nights.

Next Friday, we fly to our final country of the entire trip, Egypt. My reasoning for going to Egypt is that it is in Africa, which means I would have visited all of the continents (bar Antarctica of course) over the last year. I also got a two for one deal with a person from my South America tour on a group tour in Egypt. We will start in Cairo, then head down the Nile and to other parts of Egypt over 12 days.

On the 6th March, that’s it, we’re done, no more travelling. That’s kind of scary to think about!
