The Country Trinity πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ΎπŸ‡§πŸ‡·πŸ‡¦πŸ‡·

Three countries in one day. As we left Paraguay on our journey back to Argentina (for the fifth time), we needed to pass through Brazil, so that’s why you’re reading this post.

First off all, we needed to drive from Asuncion in Paraguay to the Brazil border at Foz do Icuaca, a town we’d be returning to in a few days time.

The Brazil border was the most chaotic I’d ever seen. We had no idea which line we needed to be in or what we needed to do. Most of the people passing through had been into Paraguay to buy cheap electronics just across the border.

Eventually we made it into Brazil, and spent about an hour there.

Then it was back into Argentina, for the fifth and final time.

I’ve never been in three countries in one day, like properly, not just changing planes. I can’t say it was that fascinating, but it’s been done.

What it does mean though is that we only have one border left to cross in South America. The end is near.
