Resting up in Bratislava
We’ve just had a couple of nights in Bratislava, mainly using it as a place to recover from the stag do. It’s a good job the city only needs a few hours to be explored.
On arrival in Bratislava, I checked into the hostel, went to find some food, and then immediately went to bed. It was a very productive first night.
After 12 hours of sleep, it was time to explore. It was a pretty grey day, but still unseasonably warm. We headed out to explore the old town, including the castle, churches and various squares.
After a day of exploring this small but very picturesque city, and doing laundry, we headed to a cosy craft beer bar before calling it a night.
We’re back on the train tomorrow as we head to Krakow in Poland. I’m hoping to be more alive and social than I am now.
