Kracking on in Krakow

We’ve been in Krakow, Poland, for the last few days. A beautiful city, where we explored, went to a salt mine, and walked around Auschwitz.

We arrived at our hostel, our last hostel of the entire trip. It was a bit rough around the edges, but did have a free beer and dinner hour, and this creepy guy in the wax works opposite.

We started with a night time explore of the main square, ending in a craft beer place.

The next morning, we had a proper explore of the old town, exploring the square again in daylight and going a bit further to the castle. We also saw an actual fire breathing dragon, but it’s got nothing on Dylan.

That afternoon, we headed to the local salt mines for a tour, which includes the largest active underground chapel in the world.

The next morning we headed to the Auschwitz concentration camps, exploring two of the main camps. As you’d expect, while very interesting, this was a rather grim experience.

Following an afternoon of exploring more of Kraków’s bars, and one final night in a hostel, our time in Poland was over.

We’re now in the airport ready to fly to Cairo in Egypt, our final country in our epic adventure.
