Exiting Ecuador

For our final days in Ecuador, we’ve been based in Baños and Cuenca. Baños is a small town with lots of random activities that you can take part in, while Cuenca is a traditional town with lots of sights.

For our first day in Baños, we took a bus up to a hill which overlooks the town. There were some great views at the top of the surrounding valley and also some swings that you could play on, which was a bit of fun.

After that, we had a group night out in a rock bar. Given the late night, we didn’t get up to much the next day, but did have a little explore of the town.

Our next stop was Cuenca. This was definitely a town for shopping, as there seemed to be a bit more money on the streets compared to other places we’d been. We spent our day here exploring the town and treating ourselves to a McDonald’s.

I also found a man who produced wristbands with your name on. I was surprised that he had one with Dylan already made, and so Dylan got an upgrade.

No, I didn’t buy the Danny band.

The next day it was time to leave Ecuador, as we headed to the border with Peru.
