Toronto

We’re now in Canada, with our first stop being Toronto. We’ve been exploring the city, been to its islands, and also went on a trip to the Niagara Falls.

Having gone back five hours when arriving in Toronto, I was incredibly sleepy. I did muster up the courage to go and do a food shop for the next few days though. After that, and eating a pizza, I went to bed at a pathetic 8pm.

With a little bit of jet lag, I woke up at 6am ready to explore Toronto. We followed a generic sightseeing self guided tour in the morning, hitting some of the very few sights Toronto has to offer.

We’d come to Toronto on a bank holiday weekend, and were treated to an air show. We headed down to the waterfront, walked around a bit and watched the show.

The next day, we headed over to the Toronto islands, a collection of three islands accessible within a short 10 minute boat journey. They include a theme park, farm and a nudist beach. I kept my clothes firmly on at the beach.

For the final day, we headed on a trip to the Niagara Falls. Well the Canadian side anyway, my phone kept welcoming me to the USA. This is a huge tourist hotspot, with tours, restaurants, shops and hotels. We walked along the river for a bit to admire the falls up close, then hopped on a boat to get sprayed with lots of water, and I got soaked.

Our next stop is the capital, Ottawa, where Dylan and I will be spending some time in jail.
