Dylan regarde le rugby à Montréal
Bonjour! I hadn’t realised that my trip to Canada included a trip to France, all in the same country! I knew there was an element of French speaking in this part of the world, but I hadn’t realised it was the main language here in Montreal.
Once we had arrived in Montreal, we headed straight to a pub to find somewhere to watch the opening game of the Rugby World Cup, which we succeeded in finding after a little of roaming around.
The next day, we explored Montreal, which is full of the usual buildings, churches and waterfront sights.
The next day was a bit damp, and that’s putting it lightly, so we spent the morning exploring the Biodome, full of different animals in different environments. It was a good way to kill some time in the morning sheltered from the rain. In the afternoon, we then watched the Wales game.
For the final day, the sun reappeared, so we went to Mount Royal, a big hill and park in the middle of Montreal.
We’re now on our way over to Vancouver, the other side of Canada. There we will spend a few days before grabbing a rental car and road tripping through the Rocky Mountains, which I am very excited about!
