Speeding out of Melbourne

It’s the last day of Melbourne. Tonight we board an overnight coach to Sydney, 12 solid hours and hopefully trying to get some sleep. Unlike all of the places I visited in New Zealand, I don’t feel ready to leave Melbourne. There’s so much to do here and so little time!

When I booked my stay in Melbourne, I absolutely missed that I’m in Melbourne for the first couple of days of the Formula 1 Grand Prix. Then rather unexpectedly, I found out there’s still tickets available to go to the track on the practice days. So here we are, at the Australian Grand Prix.

      I didn’t even realise you could go, but have now found out they do tours. Too late!
