Bouncing in Queenstown

So we’re now in Queenstown. We have 9 nights here. For a reason. Party central of New Zealand. They’re not wrong.

I’m basically living the days when I went on party holidays to the Algarve and Malia back in my late teens. This won’t be good for my liver.

Three nights in and we have gone up Queenstown hill and done a bungee (or Bungy in New Zealand, I have no idea why there’s a difference) as well losing in a pool tournament and quite honestly just getting very drunk.

First up was Queenstown hill, which gave a great overview of the town.

After that is was time to watch the sunset. Sadly we missed the southern lights. To be honest I’d never heard of them. Weirdly it coincided with the UK getting the northern lights.

Then the big one, the bungy/bungee. Again Dylan wasn’t allowed on this one.

But we celebrated St David’s Day in style.

    1. Kepler Track actually. Milford is completely booked out sadly. Unless I can get a cancellation in the next few days then I’ll be doing the Kepler.

  4. I think the Northern and Southern lights tend to happen at the same time, its to do with solar activity and earth magnetism at the poles.... or something like that
