Cats, dogs and ants

That’s it for the very short stop over in Greymouth. As I was expecting, it was rather dull, but just what I needed to chill after a month on the road. 

After the brewery tour yesterday, we went on a short hike up the hill behind Greymouth and then went to the local cinema to watch the new Ant-Man film. 

But the most entertaining thing about this leg has been the room I’m staying in. All of the rooms in this hostel are animal themed, mine being cats. There’s cats everywhere. 16 cats in fact. It’s a little disturbing…

Less disturbing than the cats is the hostel dog, Cosmo. He’s very chilled and loves hanging out with the people staying.

On to Franz Josef next where we get to see some glaciers!
